The images above are the ideas for my masthead. I chose bright colours which stand out as they will attract my audience. Usually, bright colours are associated with DJs as they are always in night clubs performing with "neon" colours and lighting. I feel that the name of the magazine is very good as it is targeted towards people who mix music, therefore they will easily understand the concept of "Tune Up".
Final Masthead
The image above the chosen design for the masthead for my magazine. I chose this as it is very bright and uses a range of colours which will attract the audience. The font of the masthead is looks very "technical". This matches the house style I would like for my magazine.
